Community Guidelines

International Centre of Humanity

At the International Centre of Humanity (ICH), our community is built on shared values that shape how we learn, work, and grow together. These guidelines are rooted in our five core principles: Collaboration, Inclusivity, Ethics, Sustainability, and Empathy.

By participating in ICH spaces, whether online, in courses, or at events, you commit to upholding these principles in spirit and in action.

Collaboration: United Efforts, Achieve More

We believe that meaningful progress happens when people work together. In our community, collaboration means actively listening, sharing ideas openly, and building on each other’s strengths. We encourage teamwork, constructive feedback, and a willingness to support one another in achieving shared goals.

Inclusivity: Every Voice Matters, Even the Voices We Cannot Hear

Our community values and respects diverse experiences, cultures, and perspectives. We are committed to creating inclusive spaces where everyone, regardless of background, identity, or ability, feels welcome. This includes making our platforms accessible, listening to underrepresented voices, and ensuring no one is excluded or dismissed.

Ethics: Actions rooted in Integrity, Fairness, and Transparency

Integrity is the foundation of trust. We expect all participants to be honest, fair, and transparent in their interactions. Misrepresentation, harassment, exploitation, or any form of unethical conduct will not be tolerated. All contributions should be made in good faith, with the intent to inform, inspire, and help others.

Sustainability: Actions for Long-term Well-Being

Our community recognises that our actions have lasting impacts. We encourage the use of resources, including time, knowledge, and the environment in ways that support long-term well-being. Whether in discussions, projects, or decision-making, members should consider the social, environmental, and cultural sustainability of their actions.

Empathy: Humanity guided by Compassion and Respect for All

Empathy is central to how we connect. We expect members to engage with kindness, patience, and respect, even when views differ. Disagreement is natural and welcome in the ICH ecosystem, but they should always be accompanied by mutual respect and a conscious effort towards understanding the opposing side.

Upholding our Principles

By being part of ICH, you contribute to a community that thrives on mutual respect, openness, and shared responsibility. If you encounter behaviour that goes against these principles, please let us know so we can take appropriate action. Together, we can ensure that ICH remains a safe and inspiring space for all.
